TERMS AND CONDITIONS


 

1. Stakelums' competition for a family trip to the Harry Potter Studios in London.

 
 

Introduction:

The Stakelums' competition for a family trip to the Harry Potter Studios in London or a trip of similar value is subject to the following rules.
By taking part in the competition, participants agree to these rules.
 

Entry to the competition:

A person is eligible for this competition once they spend €30 or more online or instore.
Each participant must fill out the entry form, which is available electronically, and must include their shop receipt or order number.
It is the participant's obligation to complete the entry form.

Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, sponsors and agencies associated with the Competition are not eligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, stepparent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, stepbrother, step-sister or first cousin.
Individuals utilising other people's B2B accounts or money are not allowed to participate in this competition; it is only open to personal purchasing
 
  1. The competition will run from 8am April 24th 2023 to midnight June 30th 2023.
    Entries received after the end of the competition period will not be considered.
     
  2. The winner will be notified on or before July 10th.
     
  3. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 5 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
     
  4. Entrants must be resident in the Republic of Ireland.
     
  5. All entrants must be aged 18 or over.
     
  6. For entry to our competition via stakelumstore.com, all orders of €30.00 or more, excluding shipping, will receive a confirmation link in their email of receipt.
     
  7. Due to then nature of holiday prizes the value of this prize shall have the form of a voucher worth €2,000 and must be booked through Bowe Travel, Thurles.
    Travel must be completed within 6 months of the final entry date (June 30th 2023). The prize winner may use the voucher towards an alternative holiday booked through Bowe Travel.
     
  8. Please keep your registered receipt as proof of purchase.
     
  9. Redemption is subject to availability at time of booking- certain periods can be more heavily booked for attractions:
    Stakelums have no control over this.
     
  10. Entrants must possess a valid passport and must meet the necessary entry requirements, including visa conditions for the countries specified in the competition.
    Entrants should also have sufficient funds to meet any costs which may be incurred over and above any allocated provisions (Flights, accommodation, entrance fee) detailed in the prize.
     
  11. By entering this competition, participants agree to allow Stakelums to use their name, photograph, and location for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media and website content.
     
  12. By participating in the Competition, you agree to receive emails from Stakelums regarding future special offers and promotions.
    You may unsubscribe from these emails at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of such an email. Stakelums will not share your email address with third parties.
     
  13. It is the responsibility of the prize winners to secure the necessary holiday, travel and health insurance cover.
     
  14. Stakelums cannot be held responsible for damage or injury to competition winners or their property, nor can Stakelums be held responsible for any documents, monies or personal item lost or stolen in the duration of any holiday element of their prize.
     
  15. No cash alternative will be offered. If prize becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control, suitable substitutes will be provided.
    Holidays are subject to availability. Holidays are non-transferable.
     
  16. The Prize will be awarded to a randomly selected winner who has entered using a random number generator.
    Stakelums will not be held liable if the named prize becomes unavailable or cannot be fulfilled.
     
  17. We reserve the right to disqualify any participant who breaches these terms and conditions or engages in fraudulent or unlawful behaviour.
     
  18. We reserve the right to amend or withdraw this competition at any time without prior notice.
 
 

2. Snap, Tag and Share social media contest.

 

Introduction:

By participating in this Snap, Tag and Share social media contest, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The Contest is organized by Stakelums, and is open to residents of Rep of Ireland who are at least 18 years of age.
 

Eligibility:

To be eligible to participate in the Contest, you must have a valid social media account such as Facebook or Instagram and follow Stakelums on the platform where the Contest is being held.
Employees of Stakelums and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in the Contest.
 

How to Participate:

  1. Take a photo of yourself or with a group of friends in-store in our designated area at Stakelum, Parnell Street, Thurles and upload it to your social media account.
  2. Tag @stakelumstore in the photo and use the hashtag #ADecadeWithStakelumToys.
  3. Make sure your social media account is set to public so that we can see your entry.
By participating in the Contest, you confirm that you own the rights to the photo you are submitting and that it does not infringe on any third-party rights.
 

Selection of Winners:

The winner will be chosen at random from all eligible entries received during the Contest period.
The winner will be notified via direct message on the social media platform where the entry was submitted.
If the winner does not respond within 48 hours of notification, another winner may be selected at Stakelums discretion.
 

Prize:

The prize for the Contest is a Intex 10ft x 30" Metal frame swimming pool with filter & pump.
The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other item.
Stakelums reserves the right to substitute the prize with an item of equivalent value at any time without prior notice.
 

Publicity:

By participating in the Contest, you grant Stakelums the right to use your name, photo, and social media handle for promotional purposes without additional compensation or permission.
You also agree to cooperate with Stakelums in any publicity activities related to the Contest, including but not limited to social media posts and local press releases.
 

General Terms:

Stakelums reserves the right to modify or cancel the Contest at any time for any reason, including but not limited to technical difficulties or fraud.
Stakelums is not responsible for any entries that are lost, late, illegible, or incomplete, or for any technical errors or malfunctions that may affect the Contest.
Stakelums disclaims all liability for any harm or damage caused by the use of this product to competition winners, their property, or third parties.
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Rep. of Ireland.
